You may be suffering from endometriosis. Endometriosis is a painful condition that occurs when cells similar to those that form the lining of the uterus (womb) begin to grow outside of the uterus. Usually, these cells spread to the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the lining of the pelvis, but they can also spread to other parts of the body such as the vagina, cervix, bowel, bladder, and in rare cases, the lungs.
