Dr. Ross Nelson is a licensed clinical psychologist and entrepreneur in Palo Alto, CA. He received his doctoral degree from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Upon graduation, Dr. Nelson worked for Kaiser Permanente for several years providing outpatient services while developing an expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. After, he began working as a psychologist for Crossover Health, an innovative startup, where he developed a specialty in managing work-related stress and anxiety while serving employees of large tech companies in Silicon Valley. He later became the company's behavioral health program manager ensuring the success of the company’s global mental health services. Dr. Nelson has since started a business, Welleo Health, as well as a private practice while also provided consulting services for various health care startups and organizations. He is passionate about evidence-based therapy and addressing the global mental health crisis through creative and scaled solutions.
Dr. Nancy Youssef graduated from the University of Illinois with a chemical engineering degree as well as her medical degree. She had done her family medicine residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois and later obtained her teaching in family medicine fellowship at Tufts/Cambridge Health Alliance Family Medicine in Massachusetts. She has been doing family medicine and urgent care since her fellowship training. She teaches to residents, medical students and PA/NPs since her graduation.
Aside from her work at K Health, Dr. Youssef is currently working in urgent care and primary care specializing in women's health.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Nancy now lives in the south loop of Chicago. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She is pursuing her love of music and currently practicing playing the guitar.
Dr. Nadel is board certified in emergency medicine. She has worked in varied practice environments, including academic urban level-one trauma centers, community hospital emergency departments, skilled nursing facilities, telemedicine, EMS medical control, and flight medicine.
Dr. Nadel is originally from the Washington, DC area and was happy to return to the area after completing residency. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and attending area sporting events. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and dog.
Dr. Jenell Decker is a board certified family medicine physician. She attended Concord University where she received her undergraduate degree. She then went on to receive her medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. Following medical school, Dr. Decker moved to Greenville, NC where she completed her residency in family medicine at Pitt Memorial Hospital. In addition to being board certified in family medicine, she also has a certificate in advanced cardiac life support.
Dr. Decker enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and biking. She also likes to travel, garden, and play with her kids.
In 2005 Dr. Hemphill graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology. She then received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 2009. In 2012 she started her residency program in Family Medicine at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida where she served as chief resident completing. She was awarded the Y.B Auyeung Pediatrics Award in Family Medicine during her chief year. After completing residency, she was afforded the opportunity to work as a traditional Family Medicine physician in Apopka, Florida. She then started her career in academic medicine at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where she served as assistant professor and co-clerkship director for the 3rd year family medicine clerkship. In 2015 she was awarded the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) Young Leader Award which recognizes an outstanding service to the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and the specialty of Family Medicine by a young physician. She later started working as a Direct Primary Care physician in 2016.
Her career focus includes providing quality health care to all patients (from pediatrics to geriatric age) to improve health outcomes. She has a commitment to serve with integrity, focus, drive, dedication and passion to honor the essence of being a family physician, educator, administrator, and most of all an honorable human being.
Howard E. Jeffries, MD, MPH, MBA, is attending physician at Seattle Children's Hospital and clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric intensive care. He is the medical director for Clinical Effectiveness at SCH. He has published chapters and peer-reviewed articles, with an emphasis on cardiac intensive care, informatics, outcomes assessment and quality improvement.
Ellen Fan has a Bachelors of Arts degree in human biology and a Doctorate in medicine from Stanford University. In between her undergraduate and medical degrees, she researched aging with the National Institute of Health in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Fan completed her family medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. In addition to her work with K Health, Dr. Fan is a primary care physician in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is originally from New Jersey and loves gardening, running, playing music, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
